The Calverton School is a nonsectarian, coeducational, independent college preparatory school located in Calvert County, Maryland. 

The Calverton School currently enrolls 410+ students from five counties, consisting of 50 communities in Southern Maryland.  We have a diverse student population of 22%.

Applicants for admission at all levels are required to take an admissions evaluation and submit an application and supporting documents. 

The faculty and administration of the School consists of 62 people with 26 baccalaureate degrees and 36 master's degrees.  The student/faculty ratio is 10:1.

The Calverton School is a nonprofit corporation directed by a Board of Trustees.  It is accredited by the Association of Independent Maryland Schools and  the National Association of Independent Schools.
